This is a great snack providing the appropriate combination of healthy carbohydrates, fat and protein. This combination leaves you satiated for a long period of time, stabilizing blood sugar, and tastes great!
1 TBSP natural chunky peanut butter
1/4 cup crushed organic granola
1/4 cup chopped or melted dark chocolate morsel or cacao nibs
Use whole banana or slice in half, roll in peanut butter to coat. Next roll in granola to coat. Either dip in melted chocolate or chopped chocolate morsels. OPTION: dip in cacao nibs and chopped walnuts for added antioxidants and Omega-3 healthy fat. May be served at room temperature or chilled slightly.
